Mabou Farmer To Represent Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia’s 4H Beef Team

A young Mabou farmer is representing Cape Breton Island in the Nova Scotia 4H Beef team at the Royal Fair in Toronto.

17-year-old Cole Campbell was selected for the team at a 4H pro show held in Berwick and he will be entering his heifer “Joy” in the competition. He was the only Cape Breton farmer selected and was very happy to receive the honour. The top 23 heifers’ from the province are chosen for the team.

Campbell has been working on farms since the age of seven and currently runs his own cattle farm while attending his first year at NSCC Marconi.
