Man charged in relation to 5-month drug investigation has case adjourned

A man who was one of three arrested following a 5-month drug investigation has had his case adjourned.

On Monday, Adam Stark’s hearing was adjourned until September 13 when he’ll appear in Nova Scotia Supreme Court.

RCMP say officers seized a significant amount of cocaine, as well as marijuana, and drug trafficking paraphernalia after they searched a Port Hawkesbury home in May, 2018.

25-year-old Morgan Wallace Stark of Troy, 28-year-old Adam Chester Stark of Port Hawkesbury, and 31-year-old Jonathan Edward Nicholson of Port Hawkesbury were arrested following the search.

Charges against Jonathan Nicholson were withdrawn June 11.

Morgan Stark was scheduled to set a trial date in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in April, but his hearing was adjourned until September 13.
