A tragic update in the case of a missing woman and child in the Sheet Harbour area.
RCMP say the 36-year old woman from Ruth Falls was found dead on Tuesday.
A short time later, search teams located the remains of a 3-year old boy close to where the woman was found.
Their deaths are not believed to be suspicious at this time.
Police had the underwater recovery team, the Canadian Coast Guard and Ground Search and Rescue in areas like Sheet Harbour, Musquodoboit Valley and Halifax searching.
The pair were last seen Saturday around 2 a.m.
