Motorcyclist hits Moose near Aberdeen

The investigation of a collision between a motorcycle and moose continues.

It occurred on Saturday, October 18 around 5:15 a.m. on Highway 105 near Aberdeen.

The 47-year-old Waycobah man who drove the motorcycle was treated at the scene by emergency services and transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

He was driving the motorcycle without any riders.

The moose died at the scene.

Highway 105 closed for several hours as a RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location.

It reopened later in the day on Saturday.
