Municipality of the County of Antigonish Approves Rezoning Application to Allow for Residential Properties

The Municipality of the County of Antigonish has approved a rezoning application that will allow for the construction of a multi-unit residential property in Monastery near Highway 4.

The application was submitted to the municipality by AA Harbour Enterprises and Warden Owen McCarron says this project will help to address the housing issues in the community. AA Harbour Enterprises will work with the people of Monastery to ensure that the units are affordable for those in need of a good home.

A public hearing on the rezoning application was held last month and no opposition to the project was brought to the table.

It has not been determined when construction will commence.
