Monk was one of my absolute favorite TV shows. It follows a ex cop who’s a brilliant detective with OCD. His one big case that he can’t solve is the case of his wife who was murdered. He eventually also solves this case.
The show ran for 7 years and won 8 emmy awards. It ended in 2009 but since then there have been some rumors about the show being brought back and a few days ago this was confirmed in the form of a movie on Peacock coming out on December 8th. Mr. Monk’s Last Case:A Monk Movie, has the green light!
I kind of thought this might happen after the cast were reunited (by zoom) during the pandemic.
