Nominations open to recognize volunteers in Inverness County

Do you know of any outstanding volunteers in Inverness County?

The Municipality says nominations are now open for their Annual Volunteer Recognition Program.

This program celebrates people who help communities across the County thrive.

Winners will receive a certificate of recognition and a gift certificate from a local business of their choice.

You have until April 10 to make your nomination here.

The early-bird nomination deadline is March 13.

All nominees made before the early-bird date will be entered into a draw to represent Inverness County at the provincial ceremony in September.

Recognition also continues throughout the year with weekly volunteer highlights posted on the Municipality’s Facebook page and featured in the Participaper’s Summer 2026 issue.
