Nova Scotia Firefighters Return from Newfoundland Mission

After working hard to fight the Paradise Lake Fire in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia fire fighters deployed to assist arrived home Yesterday

Scott Tingley, the manager of forest protection with the department of natural resources and reenables of Nova Scotia spoke with some the fire fighters and many of them felt good about helping out in another province. “The province is really proud of the firefighters, and they did a great job, we are happy to help provinces in need when we need it.” He added

Newfoundland fire crews also provided assistance to Nova Scotia by sending an air tanker to fight a fire in Yarmouth back in May. The rock still has around six active wildfires that are now under control.
