Nova Scotia filmed (and set!) show Sullivan’s Crossing premiers Sunday

A new show that was filmed in Nova Scotia premiers this Sunday on CTV.

The cast of the show, called “Sullivan’s Crossing” includes Chad Michael Murray. You may have seen him in One Tree Hill, Gilmore Girls and movies like Freaky Friday and A Cinderella Story. Scott Patterson is also in this, some may say he is best known as Luke from Gilmore Girls! Canadian Tom Jackson is also in this show, who has way too many credits to mention here!

Not only was the show filmed in and around Halifax last summer but it’s set here too! The story is based on a series of books by author Robyn Carr

The show is from the same executive producers that brought us another series based on books, Virgin River.

The plot of the show is: Neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan’s perfectly planned life is turned upside down after finding herself in unexpected legal troubles. Needing time to reflect, she temporarily leaves her life in Boston taking refuge in her childhood home of Sullivan’s Crossing, a campground in picturesque Nova Scotia that is run by her estranged father, Sully Sullivan (Patterson)

  • Kelly MacMillan lives in Port Hawkesbury with her husband and son. She has been part of the team at 101.5 The Hawk for more than 25 years, sharing stories from around the region. You can join her weekdays from 10am until 2pm.
