As Nova Scotia continues to see a rise in respiratory illnesses, Health Minister Michelle Thompson is encouraging people to get their flu vaccines.
The flu vaccine is still an important tool at combatting influenza, and they reduce the chances of severe illness and hospitalization.
The vaccine is available for all ages and is publicly funded.
More information on flu shots is available on the province’s website: Protect yourself and others from influenza (the seasonal flu) – Government of Nova Scotia, Canada
