Oliver tops the list as Nova Scotia’s favorite baby name of 2022.
Other names rounding out the top ten include Jack, Charlotte, Violet, William, Emma, Owen, Henry, Olivia and Noah, according to Nova Scotia’s Registry of Vital Statistics.
Grayson and Beau are also gaining popularity, but some old favorites are coming back like Emma and Charlotte.
As of today, there were 6,828 registered births this year in Nova Scotia.
When the province began formally registering births in August of 1864, the most popular names were Mary and John.
Last year, however, it was Olivia.
