A man from Richmond Co. arrested following an alleged conspiracy to import cocaine has entered a guilty plea in the case.
Andrew Francis Frank, 60, of West Arichat was originally charged with seven drug-related counts.
Frank pleaded guilty to one charge in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Truro Wednesday; he’s scheduled to return to court for sentencing June 19.
Police say they made six arrests in connection with Operation Halfpenny in Feb. 2017.
They say officers discovered a plot to import more than a tonne of Colombian cocaine a year-and-a-half earlier.
