Outages persist in N.S. two weeks after Fiona

The work continues to get the lights back for those who remain without power two weeks after Fiona.

Nova Scotia Power says there are about 2,600 customers still without electricity with most located in the northeast region.

Larger pockets of outages persist in the New Glasgow, Stellarton, Pictou, and Trenton areas.

There are more than 1,300 people on the ground working to get the power back.

The utility expects most will have electricity by Sunday.
