Federal officials have announced over $730, 000 for some projects in the Quad Counties.
Rodger Cuzner, Cape Breton-Canso MP, announced more than $300, 000 in funding for the Dundee Resort & Golf Club.
Officials say the repayable contribution will improve infrastructure- that includes interior and exterior of the buildings, new equipment, new signage, a fitness centre and improvements to internet and cell signals.
Officials with MacLeod’s Beach – Campsite Ltd. in Inverness Co. are on the receiving end of $225, 000 in repayable funding; federal officials say the money will be used for the replacing of 40-50 fully-serviced campsites.
More than $205, 000 was announced for officials with the Inverness Development Association and Société Mi-Carême.
