Pair arrested during vehicle stop have case adjourned

Two people charged after a vehicle stop in Antigonish Co. are expected to return to court in March.

Police say officers arrested a man and a woman during an Aulds Cove stop in November.

They say they seized dexamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Logan Brophy, 24, and Kristin Smith, 25, from Frankville face possession charges.

Their case opened in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court in December; they were scheduled for election-and-plea in Antigonish Provincial Court Wednesday.

The hearing was adjourned until March 7.
