A plane had to make an emergency landing in the Petpeswick Lake near Halifax.
RCMP got a call at 2:35 p.m. on Sunday about a plane that appeared to crash into the lake.
However, a spokesperson said it was a float plane, and the pilot was not injured when it landed.
There was a second plane that also landed on the lake to help the pilot to safety.
Police say they do not believe the incident was criminal and turned the investigation over to Transport Canada.
Our newsroom has reached out to Transport Canada for additional information.
