Police watchdog investigating after man gets fractured elbow during Cole Harbour arrest

The province’s police watchdog is investigating after a man was seriously injured during an arrest in the Halifax area.

SiRT says it was June 26 when RCMP got the call about a man who was refusing to leave someone’s property in Cole Harbour.

He resisted arrest and was taken to the ground by officers.

The man complained about back and elbow pain, was brought to hospital and diagnosed with a fractured elbow.
