Port Hawkesbury ROC Society Store Accepting Old Electronics to Recycle

The ROC Society Store in Port Hawkesbury now has a drop off for used or unwanted electronics to be recycled.

The society is dedicated to assisting people with disabilities and an organization called Recycle my Electronics approached them with the idea of putting a drop off location at their store.

Recycle my Electronics has a relationship with ROC’s sister agencies, and they felt ROC would be a good organization to take on the project since they are well known in the community.

Diana Poirier, the executive director of ROC says they hope to be able to do their part to keep the environment clean and healthy with this recycling initiative.

You can drop off your unwanted electronics at the ROC store at 3 MacQuarrie Drive Extension on weekdays from 8AM until 4PM.

Things like old computers, phones, and kitchen appliances will be accepted.
