Price of gas continues downward spiral

Pump prices have taken another significant drop.

The price of gas fell 7.8 cents a litre at midnight; that means the new range in the Quad Counties is between a minimum of 72.8 cents and a maximum of 75.8 cents.

Gas has plummeted as much as 38.4 cents a litre since March 6; a major factor is COVID-19 concerns, which have led to lower demand.

Diesel decreased as much as 7.7 cents overnight; the new range is between 84 cents on the low end and 87 cents on the high end.
