Produce market in Guysborough seeks volunteers to restart operations

The affordable produce market Square Roots Guysborough is unable to return this Saturday.

The Community Manager, Rhonda Procure shared on a Facebook post that they will remain paused as her son has a health issue.

This follows a government grant ending that caused local markets across the Quad Counties to be unable to operate.

To get started back up again, they are searching for volunteers to help with pickup, packing orders, and distribution.

If you’re interested in joining their team of volunteers, you can message them directly.
