Province to rebuild 2 gravel roads in Judique area

Two gravel roads in the Judique area are slated for reconstruction.

The Walkers Cove Road will see 1.2-kilometres of work, and the Beaton Road will see 5-kilometres of work.

In a release, Inverness MLA and Deputy Premier Allan MacMaster says, “Reconstructing gravel roads rebuilds existing roads to improve safety and reduce maintenance costs.”

MacMaster adds, “Many of these roads need a complete overhaul: ditching, brush cutting and a brand new road base.”

The province says its Gravel Road Reconstruction Program capitalizes significant road work on local gravel roads.
