Public Engagement on Food and Beverage Strategy

The province of Nova Scotia is planning a new Food and Beverage strategy.

Nova Scotians are encouraged to share their views on what the government can do to get more healthy, local food on to people’s tables. Agriculture Minister Greg Morrow says not everyone has access to healthy local food and they are committed to changing that.

The strategy will guide the provincial governments work on how to improve access to healthy food, increase food production, support economic development, and create a more diverse and inclusive food system.

Public engagement is now open and will continue until December 23rd. You can provide your feedback through this online survey:
