Public Works would like to remind people of traffic advisories currently in place.
Orangedale-Iona Road in Inverness County from Portage Road Southbound for about 5.7 kilometres will be reduced to one lane for gravelling and drainage work. The work is expected to wrap up on July 31st and will take place from 6AM to 6:30PM
In Antigonish County, the westbound lane one kilometre west of James River interchange Exit 30 is reduced to one lane for a kilometre. This twinning work will continue until next year.
Route 334 Main Street traffic in Mulgrave is being re-routed onto the installed detour bridge, and the entrance to Mill Street from Main Street is closed. This detour will remain in place until August 31st.
Trunk 16 in Guysborough County from 1.4 kilometres north of Lincolnville loop north to Mattie Road will be reduced to one lane for brush clearing and roadwork until August 31st. The work will take place from 6AM until 8PM on weekdays
