Quad Counties celebrate 2020 grads this weekend

Grad week looks a little different in 2020 across the Quad Counties but that’s not stopping us from celebrating the graduates.

Events are taking place in multiple communities in different ways.

The RCMP stopped traffic Saturday as the grads of Inverness Education Centre-Academy walked through town with the girls wearing their dresses and the boys sporting their suits.

After that, the Glenora Inn and Distillery hosted the graduates for a free meal.

Richmond Co. also had celebrations.

They had a grad procession and you can see videos of that on our fanpage on Facebook.

The community celebration for SAERC was cancelled on Saturday due to the weather.

The event will now take place Sunday morning at 10 a.m. at the Port Hawkesbury airport.
