RCMP Encouraging People to Report Impaired Drivers

A report from the Nova Scotia RCMP says 155 drivers were charged for driving under the influence last month.

In order to prevent impaired driving incidents, The police are encouraging the public to report impaired drivers by calling 911

You will be asked to give a description of the vehicle and a description of the driver.

Motorists that change lanes or leave intersections too quicky or too slowly or drive without headlights could be intoxicated.

People should also watch for drivers that drift in and out of lanes or ignore traffic signals.
