RCMP Investigating Vehicle Crash and Vandalism

The RCMP are investigating a vehicle crash and reports of vandalism.

On Friday morning, the Guysborough District RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle crash on South River Lake Road in Giants Lake.

Officers located a smoldering Ford F-150 that left the roadway and came to rest in the ditch.

The vehicle located was unoccupied and had been reported stolen to the Richmond County District RCMP back in September.

The police suspect that the vehicle crash, the recent vandalism of mailboxes in Antigonish County, and the vandalized community centre in Goshen may be related.

They urge anyone with information to call the Antigonish County District RCMP at 902-863-6500 or the Guysborough County District RCMP at 902-533-3801. Should you wish to remain anonymous you may also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Any piece of information however small is still valuable and can be used to find those responsible.
