The Mounties say there is no risk to the public after an early-morning robbery in Antigonish.
RCMP responded to the incident at a convenience store on James Street at around 5:30 a.m.
Cst. Guillaume Tremblay tells our newsroom you may have spotted police in the area as they conducted neighbourhood checks as part of the investigation.
He adds staff are also training on Highway 4 nearby, so you might notice a police presence in the community.
