Renos to begin at Petit de Grat Library

The Petit de Grat Library is about to undergo renovations.

Eastern Counties Regional Library says the work will begin Monday, April 15th.

It will include repairs due to Hurricane Fiona damage and general improvements.

The Petit de Grat Library will be closed Thursday and Friday to move operations.

Library service will be temporarily located in room 113 at La Picasse beginning Saturday.

According to an ECRL release, services available at Petit de Grat’s temporary location will include a public access computer; staff assistance for requesting materials; a small collection to browse for checkout; and pick up and return of requested materials (holds).

There will be a limited seating area.

Thanking the Municipality of the County of Richmond for their support of the library, ECRL Board chair, Clair Rankin says, “It is fantastic that library staff will be able to keep helping the community and get books for folks while the work is ongoing.”
