The Municipality of the County of Richmond approved their trails strategy.
The approval was made at last night’s regular meeting of council. Warden Amanda Mombourquette says the next step is to look at the strategy and identify how it should be pursued.
The strategy was first presented to council last month and some of the key objectives include looking at ways to improve existing trails and develop new ones. Community trails are a good resource for providing an opportunity for residents to enjoy the outdoors.
