Richmond County’s Active Living Strategy and Recreation Plan

Richmond County’s Active Living Strategy and Recreation Plan was brought up at their committee of the whole meeting last night. Warden Amanda Mombourquette says the strategy is an opportunity for the county to look at the recreation options they already have and to look at ways they can create more recreation options.

The county plans to have public consultation sessions to give residents a chance to voice their ideas for recreation options and to find out if any improvements are needed to existing recreation options.

The goal is to have the plan completed by March 2023
