School closure due to weather conditions

Pleasant Bay School in the Strait Regional Centre for Education (SRCE) area is closed on Monday due to road conditions.

Freezing rain warnings are in effect for northern Nova Scotia, including Cape Breton, with up to 5 mm of ice accumulation expected.

Residents are advised to stay cautious and adjust travel plans as necessary.
