Update: search continues for 78-year-old Port Hawkesbury man

Ground search and rescue teams are looking for a missing Port Hawkesbury man in Colchester County.

Seventy-eight-year-old Derek Kruger was last seen at a gas station in Antigonish last Friday (Sep 29).

RCMP responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle on a logging road in Greenfield just east of Truro Wednesday morning.

A red Mazda Miata, belonging to Kruger was seen in the area on the weekend.

Kruger is described as 5-foot-4, with brown hair, glasses and a hearing aid.
