Snow Squall Watch in effect for Antigonish, Guysborough, Inverness counties

Some significant snowfall could be on the way.

Environment Canada has a snow squall watch in effect for Antigonish, Guysborough and Inverness counties.

They say 10-20 centimetres of snow could fall tonight into tomorrow.

The forecaster says conditions will deteriorate after midnight tonight and improve late tomorrow afternoon.

They note that snow squalls can produce heavy snow in a short amount of time, and visibility will be significantly reduced.
