The St Francis Xavier Universities 2022 Fall Convocation is set to take place on December 4th at the Charles V. Keating Centre.
This year’s honorary degree recipient is Truro Native Faisal Joseph an Islamic community advocate and StFX alumni. He is considered by many to be an inspiration to all Canadians as a respected champion of inclusion, dialogue, and understanding. He is still calling for greater interfaith dialogue between Muslims and Christians.
The StFX Outreach Award will be presented to Dr Maureen Coady who has worked as a faulty member in StFX’s Department of Adult Education since 2007.
The Outstanding Staff Teaching Award will go to Yogesh Kumar Ghore who started his teaching career at StFX’s Coady Institute in 2009.
