STFX has announced their football athletes of the week.
X-men running back Malcom Bussey was named STFX offensive player of the week. He scored a one yard TD run in the 1st quarter and a 19 yard rushing TD with just over 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter to give the X-men a key lead.
X-men defensive lineman Alex Fedchun was named this weeks football defensive player. He made 7.5 tackles on Saturdays game including seven solo tackles.
X-men offensive back Nathan Cayouette was named the special team’s player of the week and was recognized for leading the team in tackling.
All three players are human kinetics students at STFX.
