A man has been charged after a report of a sexual assault in Antigonish.
In an email to students, officials at StFX say a student reported an off-campus sexual assault to them Wednesday.
They say she and a friend were offered a ride by a man and woman, who were not known to them, outside a pub in the town at roughly 12:30 a.m. Jan. 5.
University officials say the man, who is not a member of the StFX community, then assaulted the student.
They say police arrested him, and charged him with sexual assault, assault and uttering threats.
