A StFX soccer player has received a national award.
Tane Caubo, a forward with the X-Men soccer team, is the U Sports male athlete of the week.
Caubo recorded five goals and three assists in a pair of weekend road games in New Brunswick; he had three goals and two assists and was named player of the game in Saturday’s 6-1 win against Mount Allison in Sackville, then had two goals and an assist in Sunday’s 3-3 tie against UNB in Fredericton.
He was named StFX male athlete of the week Monday, and AUS male athlete of the week Tuesday.
