Members of the local business community were honoured at the 2019 Strait Area Chamber of Commerce spring AGM and awards gala.
Chamber officials handed out the awards at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre Wednesday evening.
They presented the Jack Hartery Lifetime Achievement in business award to the MacDonald family of Midway Motors.
The Kevin Beaton Heart of the Community Award went to Leon Burt with the Strait Richmond Minor Hockey Association.
Members of the Potlotek Education Office received the Cultural Award of Merit
The President’s Award was presented to Danielle Patterson, and the NSCC Leadership Award was presented to Owen MacLean.
