The Strait Richmond emergency room will be closed for most of this weekend.

The Strait Richmond Regional Hospital’s Emergency Department will be closed from 7 a.m. Saturday until 8 a.m. Monday because there isn’t a doctor available to cover the shift.

If you require immediate medical care during that time, call 911.

For non-urgent care, you can call 811 to speak to a nurse.
