The cat came back: Lucky returns in Port Hastings

The cat that went missing in Port Hastings in July has come back.

Lucky, a black cat, visiting with her owner Sara Tadayyon from New York, escaped from her harness while at the tourist centre in Port Hastings on July 25.

After four long months, she was spotted on Saturday, November 22 and Forget Me Not Animal Rescue Society captured her using a live trap.

Her microchip confirmed it was Lucky.

She was hungry, but was in good shape considering her lengthy ordeal.

Lucky has been reunited with her owner’s parents who live in Halifax until she can make it back home to the states.
