The days are getting longer – sunset times for Nova Scotia

January and February can feel like very long, cold months in Nova Scotia but you’ve probably noticed that the days are getting slightly longer as we inch towards Spring.

Sometimes, I like to look ahead at sunset times, especially on cold days like today, just to remind myself that nicer weather is coming!

Today, the sun will set at 4:43 pm.

On February 16, the sun will set at 5:28 pm.

On March 16, after the clocks go ahead, the sun will set at 7:08 pm.

Spring is coming! I’d just like it to hurry up.
