The Quad Counties will benefit from provincial budget

The government’s 2026 to 2027 provincial budget includes some investments for the Quad Counties.

Cape Breton has a couple important improvements to look forward to.

The Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston will be part of a nearly $25 million going towards constructing modular units that will expand dialysis service.

Next, is improving the St. Anne Community and Nursing Care Centre in Arichat, which is included in the nearly $875 million budgeted for building 5,700 new and replacement long-term care spaces by 2032.

This year’s budget is expected to power Nova Scotia’s future by building stronger and healthier communities and ensuring the province’s fiscal sustainability.
