Three schools closed in SRCE as impact from snow continues

The Strait Regional Centre for Education has announced that classes are cancelled today, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the following schools because of poor road conditions:

Inverness Education Centre/Academy
Cape Breton Highlands Education Centre/Academy
Pleasant Bay School

Families are encouraged to monitor official school channels for any further updates. Travel with caution if you must be on the roads.
