On Monday, April 8, a total solar eclipse will be visible from Nova Scotia. This is something that happens when the moon completely covers the sun.
There is a very narrow path in which you can see it, called path of totality. The path is very long (approx 15,000kms) but only around 150km wide.
Depending on where you are, the start time will vary but the earliest will be 3:23 pm in the most western part of the Province.
For the Quad Counties:
Begin: 3:29pm
Peak: 4:39pm
End: 5:45pm
