The Town of Antigonish is taking part in Delightful December an initiative that sees revenue collected from Town parking metres during the month of December donated to the Antigonish Emergency Fuel Fund and the Antigonish Community Food Bank.
Town council voted unanimously to bring back the initiative and they hope that this will help community members feeling financial strain from economic pressures and the increase in the cost of living.
This is the third year in a row that the Town has taken part in the initiative.
