We may not have snow yet but the Town of Antigonish is preparing for winter. The winter parking ban for the town takes effect tomorrow.
This means people are not permitted to park on town owned streets or parking lots from midnight until 7PM otherwise they will have their vehicles towed at their expense.
The ban on parking will make it easier for snowplows and sanders to do their work.
The ban will be in effect until April 15th
