Town of Mulgrave Special Meeting of Council

The Town of Mulgrave held a special meeting of council last Tuesday.

During the meeting amendments to the community’s dog by-law were passed.

The change means that residents will now be allowed to walk more than one dog.

Residents must still maintain control of their dogs at all times while out on the streets.

Amendments to their fire prevention by law were also tabled at the meeting to allow the volunteer fire department to make recommendations to the council. According to a statement from the CAO, they are expected to discuss the possibility of allowing residents to burn garden and yard waste with burn permits.
