Two people are dead after a house fire in New Glasgow.
It happened Saturday afternoon and in an update late on Christmas Eve, investigators do not believe the blaze was deliberately set.
A 48-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both from Pictou County, died in the fire.
New Glasgow Regional Police and fire officials spent most of the weekend gathering information and evidence as to the cause of the fire.
They state all signs continue to indicate the fire is not suspicious.
