An ER closure is planned for a hospital in the Quad Counties.
Officials at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston say their emergency department will be closed from 8 a.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday.
They say the unavailability of physicians to cover the shift is the reason for the unexpected temporary closure.
