It’s byelection day in the Municipality of the District of Guysborough.
Four candidates are in the race for the District 4 seat- Jenny MacDonald, Tino Winter, Elaine Durling and David Hanhams.
They’re running to replace Blair George, who represented the district for more than 30 years; he was killed in an ATV crash in Halfway Cove in January.
There were two days of advance voting- April 4 and April 9.
Polls opened at 8 a.m.; they close at 7 p.m.
